HT Motorsports names Cook as driver in 2007
HT Motorsports has named veteran driver Terry Cook as driver of the No. 59 Toyota Tundra for the 2007 season of the NASCAR Trucks Series.
Over his 10-year Trucks Series racing career, Cook has earned six wins, seven poles, 26 top-five and 90 top-10 finishes. He also holds the record for most consecutive starts in the Trucks Series with 222.
Cook will be partnered with experienced crew chief Danny Rollins, who won the 2004 Trucks championship with driver Bobby Hamilton. Rollins joined HT Motorsports mid-season last year.
“There is no doubt that we will have great success in 2007. (HT Motorsports team owner) Jim Harris has put together an all-star team with an already impressive record in the Trucks Series. I am really looking forward to working with HT Motorsports and am anxious to hit the high banks of Daytona with Rollins calling the shots,” Cook said.
