DeSoto ? The Wellsville High girls basketball team edged De Soto, 44-40, in a game originally scheduled for last week.

Tied after the first and second quarters, the game was decided in the third, in which Wellsville exploded for 17 points.

Erica Patton led Wellsville (6-13) with 15 points, and Jackie Goleman matched it with 15 of her own for De Soto (8-11).
