Three Baker players honored by HAAC

Three Baker University basketball players have received all-Heart of America Athletic Conference honors. Baker’s Amanda Yates, a 6-foot senior forward from Silver Lake, was named second-team all-HAAC. She averaged 15.7 points a game to lead the Wildcats and rank fourth in the HAAC.

Allie Heinen, a 6-0 junior forward from De Soto, received honorable mention. She averaged 9.7 rebounds a game to rank second in the conference. She established a Baker season record with 292 rebounds.

Nate Pedrow, a 6-7 senior forward from Lone Jack, Mo., received honorable mention for the all-HAAC men’s basketball team. Pedrow averaged 12.5 points and 6.1 rebounds a game to lead the Wildcats.
