Explosives found near train that caught fire

? An explosion on a train headed for Pakistan set off a fire that swept through two coaches, killing at least 64 people in an attack an official said was aimed at undermining the peace process between India and Pakistan.

Authorities say two suitcases packed with crude bombs and bottles of gasoline were found – one inside a burned coach, the other on the railroad track.

The attack “was done as part of a conspiracy,” India’s junior home minister, Sriprakash Jaiswal, told reporters in New Delhi. “The purpose is to disturb communal harmony, India’s stability and to disturb the peace process between India and Pakistan.”
