Producers interested in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) are invited to attend an informational meeting concerning the maintenance and care of their program cover.

Representatives from the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Services, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical and the county’s Noxious Weed Department will provide information and answer questions.

The meeting is set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 22 in Building 1 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 19th and Harper streets. A meal will be provided. Reserve a spot by calling the agency office by Thursday at 843-4260.
