Buffalo Runners: Tom Kreissler and Steve Riley, both of Lawrence, finished 2-3 overall in the Buffalo Run 7K Saturday in Parkville, Mo. Kreissler won the men's ages 20-29 division, and Riley was the masters champ while running in the ages 50-59 category. Keith Dowell of Lawrence was second in the 50-59 division. The Sandrats (Kreissler, Riley and Matt Brisch) won the men's team title.

¢City Leagues: Organizational meetings for city adult spring leagues are coming up. Basketball will be Tuesday at the Community Building, slow-pitch next Thursday at the Holcom Rec Center and dodgeball next Thursday at the Community Building. ¢Umpires Meeting: An orientation meeting for anyone interested in becoming an umpire for city softball or kickball leagues will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 at South Park Rec Center. For information, call 832-7920.

¢Breslauer Second: Fran Breslauer of Lawrence finished second in her age group in the Kaiser Permanente Half-Marathon Sunday in San Francisco. Breslauer was clocked in 2:12:39.
