Seven guys in an eight-by-eight room, four televisions on the wall, a couple of tables, a bunch of laptops and chairs lined all around. Doesn't sound very roomy, huh? But KUSports.com editor Ryan Greene and Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan were included in the bunch, as they got some behind the scenes access with the ESPN Gameday crew Friday afternoon in one of their production trailers as they readied themselves for the first leg of a busy weekend in Allen Fieldhouse. Hear an interview with Jay Bilas, some old hoops stories and about the meticulous pre-show work habits from Digger Phelps and the crew, and anything else you want to know about Gameday from host Rece Davis, producer Lee Fitting and researcher Nick Loucks in a special, off-the-cuff, outside-the-office episode of the Spodcasters. Oh yeah, and they also talk about some game that's being played Saturday night in Lawrence - you might have heard something about it.
