Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence man reported a burglary and theft to Lawrence Police on Tuesday. Items reported stolen include a 20-inch iMac computer, white MacBook computer, a PlayStation 2 game console, an XBox and games for both. The total estimated loss is $4,490. The incident occurred between 10 p.m. Monday and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Ohio Street.

¢ Lawrence Police said they received a report of gunshots at 11:43 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Eighth and Michigan Streets. Police investigated and found one shell casing but nothing else. No one was injured in the area and further details were not provided.

¢ A 55-year-old Lawrence man reported a 1993 Ford Aerostar was “keyed” between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 20. The incident occurred in the 4700 block of Overland Drive. The damage estimate is $1,000.

¢ A Lenovo ThinkPad X61 laptop computer worth $2,000 was reported stolen from the Kansas University chemistry department, 2095 Constant Ave. The incident occurred between 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 20.
