To the editor:
Now I've heard it all. People whining about too much light on Kasold. Have they ever heard of darkening shades? Too bad, poor babies. Some people work at night and have to sleep in the daylight hours. Here we have this new street with modern lights and they want to go to the expense of taxpayers to put it back to the old way! GROW UP!

Westar should have installed modern lights that point down instead of lighting up the south forty.

Dixie- if we all went back to the good old days, we sure wouldn't be burning so much fossil fuels to light up the night. Take a cue from nature and go to bed at night, because we are not supposed to be nocturnal animals. If we were we would be able to see in the dark and not need those lights that use energy, add to greenhouse effect, and block out the stars.

Great. Now they've started running letters to the editor that exhibit the same adolescent petulance as many of the posts on LJWorld.com. How very informative and thought-provoking. . .

Again, the old Kasold was a mess in more ways than one. The new one has a nice multi-use path. Let's encourage pedestrian use through decent lighting.

Yes, logicsound04, that's apparently what they're looking for these days.

Light pollution is no light matter. It is unhealthy and makes it hard for people to sleep at night. The newer neighborhoods where covenants mandate yard lights on at all times etc. are bad for one's health.

BC, TOB, Logic, I couldn't agree more.
