The Stull Busy Beavers 4-H Club conducted its Parents Night meeting Nov. 12. Kim Booth called the meeting to order. Parents led the meeting and put on a program for the 4-H evening.

New members Alexis and Austin Clark, Josephine Houston, Cassody O’Connor and Jessye Schumann were initiated into the club and given new member packets.

The activities committee announced it would be looking into Christmas caroling at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community.

Doc Carson received a 20-year leadership pin for his service to 4-H. Parents who gave programs and their topics were Vicki Clark, swine; Tad and Margaret Kramar, eggs; Julie Springer, dog; and Kim Booth, knitting.

The next meeting was planned for Dec. 10 at Stull United Methodist Church.

The Four Leaf Clover 4-H Club met Nov. 12 in Building 1 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The club elected new officers for 2008, and members received their yearly achievement pins. Project leaders also were congratulated for another year of service.

The club voted to adopt a family for Christmas, and members were planning to provide nonperishable foods. The club was to provide funding for committees to buy toys, clothing and other gifts.
