Adrian Lewis, chairman of the department of history at the University of North Texas, will succeed David Lambertson as the director for the Kansas University collaboration with Fort Leavenworth.

Lewis, a military historian and former Army officer, will take on the position this summer.

The KU-Leavenworth program was announced in September and is supposed to foster relationships between the Command and General Staff College at the fort and KU, particularly KU’s graduate school.
