The transmission tower used by KANU radio toppled, and officials were at the scene investigating the possibility that a guy wire supporting the tower had been cut in an act of sabotage. The 110,000-watt public radio station was off the air without the 700-foot tower. When the station could resume broadcasting was uncertain for the time being, officials said.
