Philadelphia – Andre Iguodala scored 16 points, and Andre Miller had 17 points and 12 assists for Philadelphia, which led by as many as 31 points in its third straight victory.

Houston’s Tracy McGrady scored 12 points before leaving the game in the second half due to a sprained right ankle.

Bonzi Wells scored 24 points, Luther Head chipped in with 18, and Yao Ming added 12 for the Rockets.

Hawks 98, Magic 87

Orlando, Fla. – Josh Smith had 25 points and a season-high 16 rebounds, and Joe Johnson scored 24 points as Atlanta won its third straight game, a road victory over Orlando.

It was the Magic’s second straight loss and their first losing streak this season. The Hawks led all but the opening 90 seconds and held Orlando’s prolific three-point shooters in check almost all game.

Orlando shot a season-low 39.7 percent. The Hawks shot 42.7 percent, but capitalized on 19 Magic turnovers for 29 points.

Mavericks 99, Knicks 89

New York – Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 36 points for Dallas.

Josh Howard, who scored a career-high 47 points Saturday, added 22 to help the Mavericks beat the Knicks for the 11th time in 12 meetings.

Heat 117, Suns 113

Phoenix – Dwyane Wade scored 10 of his 31 points in the final four minutes, and Miami ended its longest road trip of the season with a victory over the Suns.

Shaquille O’Neal added 18 points for the Heat.
