Combat family stress
Are you and your partner spending the holiday season arguing about money, gifts and ornament placement? You’re not alone. To avoid wanting to strangle your loved one with a strand of popcorn this season, the December issue of Women’s Health has compiled these helpful hints:
¢ Unequal funds? If one partner is lighter in the wallet, try setting a price limit.
¢ Giving joint gifts? Putting both of your names on a gift tag is a big step in any relationship. Don’t give together unless you’re going to stay together.
¢ Shopping for the gifts he’s supposed to give? More often than not, women do the holiday shopping for their boyfriends or husbands. To avoid this, try organizing a joint trip to the mall. If that doesn’t work, leave him a shopping list.
