A judge gave the owner of Naughty But Nice 30 days to vacate the premises. Richard Osburn must shut down the adult novelty store at 1741 Mass. by Jan. 5.

Judge Michael Malone's ruling came after an eviction hearing late Thursday afternoon in Douglas County District Court.

Bruce Banning, who owns the property, wanted Osburn out by the end of November after reportedly finding a new tenant for the building. Osburn argued he was not given notice until Nov. 7, which he said was not enough time to shut down his business.

Osburn said after the hearing that he's looking at relocating the store to a property just outside the city limits. Osburn has been involved in litigation with the city for the past two and a half years. The store, in its current location, is in violation of a city ordinance that only allows adult-themed stores to be along a highway.

    Richard,

Be sure to send Corliss a x-mas gift for hosing you, maybe a "strap-on".

Well, I guess the concept of witch hunts is still alive and well. Perhaps next an ordinance will be passed requiring the proprietors of the shops to be burned at the stake at the will of the city.

Marion, don't get a big ego. Your little piece of literature was hardly worth re-quoting.

Im in agreement that our judicial system has more to do with its time than deal with NbN. However, I do not believe anyone should have to pay a cover charge to shop in a store especially an "adult store". This man charges a cover if you do not know exactly what you are looking for. We were looking for party favors didnt know which ones or what kind but he said "Due to shoplifters I have to charge you a cover to look around" We were stunned. If he would quit watching TV and start watching his customers he wouldnt have that problem im sure. Most that go in there with the idea of shoplifting probably believe that they will pay his small cover then walk out with 50 times more than that in merchandise. He needs to be shut down. He is not a businessman.
