Identigen forms advisory board

Food industry veterans are signing up to help Identigen Ltd. guide growth of Identigen North America, a Lawrence-based operation whose services provide quality control and security for meat products by using DNA technology to track specific cuts through the supply chain – from farms and feedlots to retail shelves.

Initial members of the company’s Business Advisory Board include:

¢ Alan Tank, former CEO of the National Pork Producers Council.

¢ David Juday, an economist and former chief agriculture adviser for Vice President Dan Quayle.

¢ Michael John, former president of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

¢ Ken Stettmeier, a former executive of fresh meat programs in the grocery industry.

¢ Dennis McKerracher, former president of the Canadian Livestock Identification Agency.
