Schwegler teacher wins Legacy Award
The Lawrence Education Association and KU Credit Union recently presented a Legacy Award to Sue Vossler. The award honors outstanding educators who make a significant impact on the lives of students and on their success.
Vossler, a sixth-grade teacher, has worked at Schwegler School for 28 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Kansas University and a media library science degree from Emporia State University.
Vossler is the 62nd educator to receive the award, which has been given monthly during the school year since August 2000.
