Plastic surgery staffers make presentation
Dr. Scott Thellman and registered nurse Karen Harman-McGowan, of Lawrence Plastic Surgery, were invited to speak during the annual national meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, conducted last month in Baltimore.
The presentation by Thellman and Harman-McGowan, a certified plastic surgical nurse, focused on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism in plastic surgery patients.
