Doleman Titlist: Jarvis Doleman, a Free State High graduate, was a starting offensive guard on the Butler County CC football team that won the NJCAA championship with a 56-22 victory over Snow College last week in Salt Lake City.

KU Baseball Camp: Kansas University baseball will conduct a holiday skills camp Dec. 27-29 for youths ages 9-18.

Sessions will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch provided. Cost: $195. For information, call 864-7907.

Holiday Hoops Clinic: Kansas women’s basketball welcomes boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade to its annual Holiday Hoops Clinic. The two-hour clinic will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 from noon-2 p.m in Allen Fieldhouse. Ccheck-in will start at 11:30 a.m.

Parents are also invited to participate in the clinic with their child/children. Cost per child is $15 and cost per participating parent is $5.

Registration should be submitted to the basketball office no later than Dec. 21.

Orchards Golf: Orchards Golf Course Duffers meet at noon on Saturdays for nine-hole tournaments. Teams chosen each week. All ages welcome. Cost: $7. Orchards also has a coed winter golf league on Tuesdays.

City Deadlines Extended: Late registration for adult winter basketball, volleyball and dodgeball will be accepted until Dec. 19.
