The Americana Music Academy will perform favorite holiday songs during its annual Christmas Rocks Concert this weekend.

The concert will feature a 30-piece string orchestra, directed by Diane Gillenwater, accompanied by electric guitar, vocals and more. It also will feature soloists, including The Blackburry Band, The Kaw Valley Drum & Fife Corp, the Dunlop family, Micheal Paull and Terri Laddusaw, and Cindy Novello.

The event, which is a benefit for the academy, is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Hall, 642 Mass. Admission is $5, with children under 10 admitted free.
