Cheney to deliver speech in Kansas City
Washington ? The National World War I Museum in Kansas City, Mo., will be the backdrop Friday when Vice President Dick Cheney delivers a speech urging support for U.S. military forces.
Cheney will address members of the Kansas City-based Veterans of Foreign Wars as President Bush and Congress continue to feud over a measure to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Cheney’s speech is tentatively scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
