Eudora ? Sophomore Justin Ballock led all scorers with 17 points Tuesday night as Eudora cruised to a 51-39 victory over Wellsville in the Eudora Invitational.

The Cardinals will face Kansas City Harmon at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Junior Cody Carlson added 12 points for EHS, and senior Aaron Shockley had eight.

De Soto 46, Maranatha 43

De Soto – Andre Linzy scored 17 points, Jamel Townsend scored 15, and De Soto earned its first victory of the season.

Girls

Eudora 62, Paola 43

Paola – Emily Ballock scored 23 to lead Eudora into the championship game of the Panther Invitational, setting up a rematch of last year’s sub-state championship game with Tonganoxie.

Tongie, which beat EHS last year in the sub-state title game, advanced with a victory Tuesday over K.C. Ward.

Tonganoxie 70, Kansas City Ward 39

Paola – Elizabeth Baska had 17 points, and Roni Grizzle and Chrissie Jeannin added 10 each as Tonganoxie rolled into the Paola touranment finals.

De Soto 55, Maranatha 21

De Soto – Sophomore Kelsey Fisher had 14 points, six assists and seven steals as De Soto picked up its first victory. Katie Williams added 11 points and Barbara Hartz 10.
