Washington – Caron Butler scored 29 points, Antawn Jamison had 28, and Washington beat Toronto. Butler went 10-for-18 from the field and added seven assists. Jamison was 11-for-18 and had 14 rebounds for the Wizards, who broke a two-game losing streak by shooting 56 percent.

Grizzlies 109, T’wolves 80

Memphis, Tenn. – Rudy Gay scored 21 points, and Mike Miller added 18 points and a season-high 14 rebounds to lead Memphis. The Grizzlies had six players in double figures to win for the third time in four games. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves were held to their lowest point total of the season.

Kings 107, Rockets 99

Sacramento, Calif. – Ron Artest and Kevin Martin each scored 26 points, and Sacramento spoiled former coach Rick Adelman’s return to Arco Arena.

Nets 94, 76ers 92, OT

East Rutherford, N.J. – Vince Carter came off the bench to score 24 points, and New Jersey ended a five-game home losing streak with an overtime victory.

Bulls 111, Bobcats 95

Chicago – Ben Gordon scored 34 points, Luol Deng added 29, and Chicago beat Charlotte to win consecutive games for the first time this season. Ben Wallace grabbed 19 rebounds and added 10 points for the Bulls. The Bobcats have dropped five straight after an impressive start. Jason Richardson scored 22 points, and Emeka Okafor added 21 points and nine rebounds.

Hornets 112, Mavericks 108, OT

New Orleans – Chris Paul had 33 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds to lead New Orleans. Peja Stojakovic hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 2.9 seconds left in regulation.

Pistons 117, Bucks 91

Milwaukee – Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points, and Detroit put away Milwaukee early. Chauncey Billups added 18 points and nine assists, Rasheed Wallace had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and reserve Jason Maxiell scored 13 points.
