Parents who are interested in getting their children involved in Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts must sign them up at 6:30 p.m. today at Lawrence public elementary schools.

Families can visit with Scout representatives. To join either organization, parents must complete a registration form and pay $10 annual dues. There are scholarships available.

Adults also can become Scout volunteers and serve as troop leaders or co-leaders.
