The completion of the Wolf Creek nuclear power plant was to be delayed almost a year until the spring of 1985, increasing its estimated price tag to at least $2.3 billion. The plant, under construction near Burlington, had been expected to be finished by May 1984 at a cost of $1.9 billion.
