The new two-night rodeo event at the county fair was considered a successful addition and did “reasonably well” at the gate, considering it was the first trial for such a format.

Terese Fisher, Baldwin City, was crowned the 1967 Douglas County Dairy Princess. She was to compete at the state fair for the Miss Kansas title.

Nancy Freed, of Lawrence, and Steve Rice, of Baldwin, were selected Style Revue winner and best-groomed boy at the county fair, respectively.
