Lawrence Bank VP finishes bank school

David M. Clark, vice president for Lawrence Bank, recently completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, a 23-month school for community banking professionals preparing to move into senior management and leadership positions.

The school is conducted each summer on the campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo.

Participants as students are employees who have been recognized by their bank CEOs, presidents and supervisors as rising stars within their respective organizations.

This summer’s class, the 57th annual for the school, had 150 graduates.

Diplomas are awarded after students complete on-campus courses that concentrate on areas of general management, lending, financial management, and leadership and human resource management.

Requirements also include comprehensive examinations, intersession research projects and participation in a bank management simulation course designed to provide participants with experience in managing a bank.
