Lawrence Fire Medical responded to a minor house fire around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at 929 W. 28th Terrace.
The fire is now under control, according to Eve Tolefree, fire department spokesman.
The residents of the single-level home were evacuated from the house, which received some smoke damage, Tolefree said.
