KU upperclassmen lend hand at camp

Kansas University’s Sasha Kaun and Mario Chalmers worked as camp counselors at the Adidas Nations Basketball Experience from Friday through Monday in New Orleans.

Future KU player Travis Releford of Roeland Park Miege was one of the players at the showcase, which included prep players from the U.S., Africa, Europe, Asia and Latin America, all working on skill development.

The group of counselors, including Texas’ D.J. Augustin and Baylor’s Curtis Jerrels and Kevin Rogers, worked out and taught at the camp.
