Cassy Bailey has been named Baker University’s dean of students.

She will begin her new position Nov. 1, Baker President Pat Long announced this week.

Bailey currently is dean of students at Hendrix College in Conway, Ark. She previously served as assistant, associate and acting dean of students at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.

She has earned a bachelor’s degree in English and pre-law from Washington State University and a master’s degree in higher education student affairs from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
