Eldridge welcomes two employees

The Eldridge Hotel, 701 Mass., announces the hiring of two employees.

Luke Lawlor is assistant manager of Ten restaurant and the Jayhawker restaurant and bar. He joined the hotel staff last year, after having worked at Marisco’s and J.B. Stout’s.

Lawlor also owns an advertising company and is a 2003 graduate of Kansas University with a degree in sports marketing and a minor in business.

Amy Alfredson is the hotel’s catering director. She joined the hotel staff last year, initially serving as manager of Ten. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism, with a focus on strategic communications, from KU in 2005.
