Dr. Pat Moriarty, a Lawrence dentist, recently completed an industry-sponsored seminar designed to train general dentists and denture specialists in the placement of mini dental implants.

The seminar, conducted March 15-18 in Las Vegas, was sponsored by IMTEC Dental Corp., an Ardmore, Okla.-based based manufacturer and distributor of the MDI minimally invasive dental implant system.
