White House daughters gone mild?

Susan Ford, who lived in the White House around the time “Jaws” premiered, offers insights on “First Daughters: The E! True Hollywood Story” (5 p.m. today, E!). It’s hard being a teenager when your father is the commander in chief. Ford did have her high school prom at the White House, the only time that has been done.

Look for clips and commentary on presidential daughters from Caroline Kennedy to Jenna and Barbara Bush. With her tell-all books and revealing magazine spreads, first daughter Patti Davis comes closest to “True Hollywood Story” fodder. But then again, her parents were no strangers to Hollywood.

¢ The collapse in the housing market has not yet hit the neighborhood where they churn out reality television. “Bought & Sold” (9 p.m. Sunday, HGTV) is the latest basic-cable program to make “stars” out of real estate agents.

Anybody who has ever bought or sold a home knows the inherent tension and drama in the situation. And “Bought” puts the emphasis on the agents, who have reinvented themselves after leaving other careers.

The debut episode features a former model/actress who likes to marry the right family to the right dwelling. There’s also a high-powered former department-store executive who turns every open house into a big production. One of the houses featured is a real palace, a mansion with its own backyard castle just for the kids.

Viewers worried about the declining value of their own domiciles can at least enjoy the vicarious pleasures of “Bought & Sold.” Who says television isn’t escapist?

¢ “Let’s Just Play Go Healthy Challenge” (7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nickelodeon) enters its second six-month season. It follows a number of kids as they try to eat better, lose weight and become more active.

One profiled child becomes a food “activist” and tries to get his cafeteria to serve healthier food. Betcha he’s popular. A straight-A student tries out for several sports in an effort to fight her image as a bookish nerd. And one overweight adolescent promises to bulk up with the help of a professional trainer. “Let’s Go” certainly has its heart-healthy heart in the right place, but can activity overseen by a trainer really be considered “play”?
