Princeton Review names KU a ‘best buy’

A nationwide publication has named KU one of the “best buys” for a college education.

The Princeton Review listed KU as one of the 164 schools in its “America’s Best Value Colleges” book released this week.

The book entry on KU says the school “offers great programs in many areas. Plus, it’s among the most affordable in the Big 12. It has a full range of offerings, from great teachers and a beautiful campus to fantastic and fun sports fans and friendly people.”

Another factor it cites is KU’s endowment, which ranks 20th among public universities and provides financial-aid opportunities for students.
