Law enforcement report

¢ Police responded about 5 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a fight in a parking lot at Lawrence Virtual School, 2145 La., according to dispatchers. No further details were available at press time.

¢ Sunflower School filed a police report Wednesday and suspended a sixth-grade male student for making threatening comments at school. The comments were not specifically directed at anyone at school, district spokeswoman Julie Boyle wrote.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 8 North 2050 Road, Lecompton: A woman reported that $1,292 worth of valuables, including a television, a DVD player, a video game unit and video games, other videos and earrings were taken from a home on Sunday.
