Severe weather bringing cancellations

Several school-related events planned for this afternoon and evening have been canceled because the Lawrence area is in a tornado watch through 11 p.m.
Julie Boyle, director of communications for Lawrence Public Schools, listed the following cancellations:
Due to the threat of severe weather tonight, the following school activities have been canceled:
¢ Schwegler music programs.
¢ Woodlawn music programs.
¢ Langston Hughes music programs.

first the telephone terrorist, now the nonevent of severe weather, boy are the music programs gettin' hammered!
somehow, there's got to be a way to combine the two…a cello terrorist threatens to string everybody up, but the orchestra gets violin to prevent it, as the rain drums on the roof.
