Tips for together time – and erasing the evidence

It’s healthy for couples to have their own interests, but too much time apart can damage a relationship. The May/June issue of AARP The Magazine offers this advice to an energetic woman and her couch-potato spouse.

¢ Sit down with your husband to say you need to work on your relationship.

¢ Make a list of activities you’d like to do together. Have him do the same. (Include some physical activity to get the guy moving!)

¢ Build a routine for the two of you that includes some activities from both lists.

Collar color

Trying to get rid of a revealing lipstick stain? The April issue of Best Life tells how to get that makeup off your collar.

¢ Because lipstick is oil-based, pat masking tape on the stain to remove any excess grease.

¢ Spray or dab the stain with a solvent that gets rid of grease, such as rubbing alcohol or hairspray. Nail polish remover works on white shirts, but the acetone in it will cause colored shirts to fade.

¢ Wait a minute or two and then blot the area with a clean, damp cloth.

Fun fact
