Lawrence Police are looking for a man armed with a handgun who early Sunday morning robbed Taco John's, 2309 Haskell Ave.
The gunman, wearing a bag over his head, entered the business at 12:06 a.m. as two employees a man and a woman were closing the restaurant, according to a police report. The robber demanded money and then helped himself to the cash in the register before fleeing, police said.
The robber was described as a black man who was wearing blue sweat pants, a white T-shirt, and a blue cloth bag over his head with holes cut for the eyes and the nose. He was about 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighed up to 250 pounds.
Police released information about the robbery today.

Some employee is going to get killed in a robbery because their employer was too cheap to keep two employees on duty at closing.
When that happens - and it will - I hope they are sued enough to bankrupt the whole corporation.
