Baker theater students to present ‘Ghosts’

Baker University’s theater department will present Henrik Ibsen’s “Ghosts” in the final production of the academic year.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and April 26-28 at Darby Hope Theatre. Admission is free.

Set in the late 1800s, “Ghosts” deals with the battle between truth and darkness, religious and social hypocrisy, guilt and the fear of the inevitable. Tracie Wasinger Fischer, a senior theater major from Wichita, will direct the play.

“Ghosts” is the senior capstone for Fischer; stage manager Amanda Luthi, Clay Center; actor Brian Berrens, a senior theater major from Overland Park; and costume designer Patrick Lattin, Lawrence.
