KNOXVILLE, TENN. — John Stucky, who oversaw Tennessee's strength and conditioning program in the 1990s, has died. He was 59. Stucky died on Thursday in Springdale, Ark., the university announced. Stucky resigned as assistant athletic director for physical development in June 2002. He came to Tennessee after working at Arkansas, Oklahoma State, North Carolina State, Wichita State and Kansas State. He was born in Moundridge and earned All-American honors as a defensive lineman at Hutchinson Community College and then at Kansas State.
