Boy Scout Troop 64, chartered to the Eudora Lions Club, participated in its 20th annual Eudora Scouting for Food drive on March 31. Cub Scout Pack 3064, Girl Scouts, 4-H members and Eudora High School students also participated. Scouts who participated include Devon Middleton, Andrew Briery, Nathan Bradley, Conner Bradley, Justin Male, Jim Adams, David Lewis, A.J. Lavery, Tom Stanley, Jonathan Morrison, Brandon Wheelock, Eric Ahlen, Simon Elwell, Steven Wimmer, Dylan Lathrom and Alex Whitten. Adult helpers were Glenn Jackson, Jerry Criqui, Jim Morrison, Roy Wimmer, Ann Wimmer, Karen Lewis, Kathy Lewis, John Scott, Amye Scott, Greg Elwell, Tom Whitten, Arlene Whitten, Heidi Briery, Kim Stanley, Katie Stanley, Tim Middleton, Jim Guy, Lee Scott, Rick Festa, Nick Tillman and Glenn Win-einger.

Troop 64 is scheduled to go to a merit badge conference April 27-28 at Kansas State University after attending the District Spring Camporee on April 20-21.

¢Fourteen units from the Boy Scouts of America’s Pelathe District collected 4,000 pounds of food in the Lawrence Scouting for Food drive on March 31. Scouts sent out fliers before the event, and the food was picked up and taken to The Salvation Army on March 31. The food was divided among the Trinity Interfaith, Pelathe Center, Ballard Center, Leo Center and The Salvation Army pantries. The units that participated included packs 3052, 3055, 3057, 3059, 3071, 3072, 3077, 3370, 3462, and troops 52, 55, 59, 60 and 61.
