FBI special agent to speak at Baker

An FBI special agent who investigated the case of Robert Courtney, a Kansas City-area pharmacist convicted of fraud for diluting cancer drugs, will discuss the case next week in Baldwin City.

Special Agent Robert Herndon will present “Diluted Trust: Moral Failure and White Collar Crime,” at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Audio-Visual Room at Owens Musical Arts Building at Baker University.

Herndon plans to allow time to answer questions after the presentation. His appearance has been coordinated by Kevin McCarthy and Martha Harris, Baker professors who are leading a business ethics course.

Herndon graduated from Kansas University’s School of Business in 1985 with degrees in business administration and accounting. He joined the FBI as a special agent in 1986.
