Tim Fitzgerald of GoPowercat.com is reporting that sources say Frank Martin, who sat by Bob Huggins’ side as his top assistant this past season at Kansas State, is set to take over the Wildcat program.

The news comes a day after Huggins announced his resignation from the K-State post to take over at his alma mater, West Virginia. Sources also have indicated that Dalonte Hill, another Huggins assistant and a key man in the recruitment of this year’s top-rated high school basketball prospect, Michael Beasley, will stay in Manhattan as Martin’s top assistant.
