Twins miss chance against Sox
Minneapolis ? The Minnesota Twins fell flat on the first night of their three-game push for the AL Central title. A night after tying Detroit, the Twins’ bats went dormant Friday against Freddy Garcia in a 4-3 loss to the Chicago White Sox.
Minnesota remained even with the Tigers, who wasted a five-run lead and lost to Kansas City, 9-7, in 11 innings.
