Sarah Trew has been named assistant coach of the Kansas University women’s golf team, coach Erin O’Neil announced Tuesday.

This is the first coaching job for Trew, who graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Arkansas in May.

The Acworth, Ga., native played golf two years at Georgia, finishing her career at Arkansas. She finished her career with the eighth-lowest stroke average in Arkansas’ women’s golf program history.
