Lawrence High, looking toward still another state football championship, won its fifth game in a row by walloping Ottawa, 46-0, before some 7,000 persons at Haskell Stadium. Halfback Dave Oberzan, a top-rated all-state candidate, scored two of the touchdowns in the impressive victory.
