The Corps of Engineers at Clinton Lake will hold its third annual special hunt at Bloomington Park during the entire month of November.

Hunters’ names will be drawn from a pool of applications to hunt at an assigned area.

Hunters are required to carry a special permit issued by the Corps and follow all Kansas statutes.

Normally, hunting is not permitted in park areas at Clinton Lake.

One change this year will be the requirement that all hunters purchase a whitetail antlerless deer game tag or permit in addition to their required whitetail either sex permit.

Interested hunters can call the Corps at 843-7665 or e-mail to clinton@usace.army.mil and request an application.

The application deadline is Oct. 2.
