¢ Triathlon Titlist: Joe Douglas of Lawrence won his age group at the Midwest Meltdown triathlon Sept. 10 at Wyandotte County Lake.
¢ Terlizzi Hole-in-One: Garth Terlizzi of Lawrence used a 7-iron to ace the 150-yard No. 9 hole Saturday at Wigwam CC in Litchfield Park, Ariz. Witnesses were Bill Brainard and Terry Mikan.
¢ Ledbetter Hole-in-One: Everett Ledbetter of Lawrence used a sand wedge to ace the 82-yard No. 8 hole Saturday at The Orchards Golf Course. Jonathan McIntire was the witness.
¢ Gatten Low: Greg Gatten fired a 71 and won Saturday’s Jayhawk Golf Club net tournament at Alvamar by one stroke over Tom Dennis. Tom Zacharias was third with a 73. Bob Kocour, John Catlin and Greg Johnson all carded 74s. Chad Roberts posted the low gross score with a 73.
