Group to address trafficway route
Supporters of an effort to get a public vote to determine the route of the eastern leg of the South Lawrence Trafficway will state their case tonight before the Douglas County Commission.
The group, Kansans for Common Sense and Accountability, also will discuss its proposal for the county to provide a tax abatement for senior citizens.
The meeting starts at 6:35 p.m. in the Douglas County Courthouse, 1100 Mass.
