Larry McGlinn and Steve Ortiz of Lawrence were winners at the Truman Division Superbass Tournament last month at Truman Lake.

McGlinn and Ortiz earned first place and $1,220 with their five-fish limit that weighed 16.73 pounds.

They also caught the biggest bass.

The Lawrence duo fished the Pomme arm of the lake using Brush Hogs. Their boat was stationed at 20 feet, and they caught their fish at about seven feet.
